It works well and is built well and should last many years. Simple 4 inch black plastic Y.
Good value. Good quality, 4 inch flex connects well and holds a clamp witout distorting.
I RECOMMEND THESE, AS THEY ARE THE BEST CLAMPS AT THE CHEAPEST PRICEWoodstock International G2974 4" Wire Hose Clamp FOR MULTIPLE WORK STATIONS, BRANCHING OFF OF A DUST-COLLECTION SYSTEM, THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN A 90 DEGREE ELBOW.YOU WILL NEED HOSE CLAMPS TO SECURE THE FLEX HOSE.
I used 8 of these in my system and they all stood up to the abuse that it took to get all of them tight. It, as everything here, abuts the other parts, so has to have collers made to get gates, PVC etc to fit to it, but that just seems to be the deal with all of this dust control stuff.
You should use a blast gate for each run to close it off when not in use. Works fine to hook up my dust collection hoses for multiple tools.
